I found that my grocery bill was higher than usual as well. I think part of it was buying spices that I don’t normally have on hand but the next time I cook with them, I won’t have to buy the spices again and that will save some $. Produce was only marginally higher than I usually spend. Check your area to see if there is “Bountiful Baskets” availability.
