Thanks for the suggestions. The approach makes a lot of sense. I’m just a little over a week in now, and I’m really glad that I didn’t wait to start. I’ve lost 8 lbs. so far. Some of that was probably very easy to lose holiday cookie weight, but I’ve never had such a quick start on a new diet. On top of that, I don’t feel hungry.
I know the weight loss will slow down a bit now, but hoping to make some good progress before setting sail in February. Looking better in my dive skin will make scuba diving even more enjoyable!
