If it’s any help, I’ve been on the program 3 weeks now. In the first 2 weeks I lost more than 9 lbs. In the third week, my weight loss slowed way down. I lost one pound. But I stuck with it, and now in my fourth week, the weight loss seems to be picking up again. I think sometimes when we diet, our bodies are making internal adjustments that don’t necessarily show up on the scale. Although I only lost 1 pound last week, my clothes fit looser than they did the week before. I was discouraged a bit too after having such great progress, but it seems like my body has caught back up and I’m losing weight again.
The good thing is that for every little bit you lose, you will look and feel that much better. Although we all want to get down to our goal weight, don’t forget to focus on the great progress you’ve already made.
