Finishing week 3 now. Down 6 pounds and while not as exciting as the loss some others are experiencing, I am already into some of my old clothes and feeling better. 2 pounds a week…well, by spring I will be near my goal! Anyway, about the hubby. So I have my protein and veggies, perhaps a big salad for supper. Hubby will have that along with perhaps potatoes or rice or noodles and then he will go and have a bowl of ice cream with a piece of pie! Yes, he is still buying pies and eating the whole thing! Then at night it is liquor and garbage snacks. No wonder he is 40 or 50 pounds overweight and his blood pressure meds are not holding. But you cannot save someone from themselves! He has no desire to change. At least he is not criticizing me. I rather hope that he will begin to change those destructive habits but not so far. However we have time at this point.
