Thanks for the encouragement, Carol. It’s week six and I was down 7 pounds after ups and downs. The stressful situation has not resolved itself and has, in fact, become worse. I took a break from the plan when I drove out to meet my sister, who was on a business trip. I was off the plan for 24 hours. The scale will tell when check my weight again on Monday. Tonight I’m attending a birthday party. I hope they serve fruit. The beverages will probably all be soft drinks. I’ve learned that if you walk around with a filled cup, the hosts don’t keep asking you if you want something to drink. I feel recharged and ready to follow the rules again. I think the short break did me some good psychologically.
