I went through exactly the same thing with my moods! It did level out for me at about the two week mark. I also suffer from insomnia and unfortunately that is still an issue for me. I am absolutely sure that the changes I have made (and continue to make) in my lifestyle choices are the reason I am feeling better everyday. I also struggle with whether to weigh daily or weekly. Personally I like a daily weigh in just to make sure I stay on track but I also am very careful not to let the number rule my life and affect how I feel. Instead I live for non-scale victories.
