Thank you for the reply I just wanted to be sure it was not for any other reason than smoke point. There are so many pros and cons out there about coconut oil. Once one sorts out the facts from the nonsense one can make a decision. I personally use Avocado oil for cooking as I believe it is the highest smoke point oil if cooking at temperature. When it comes to Olive Oils it all boils down to the type of olive oil used and smoke point as they are all over the map. It is also important to assure you are actually buying Olive Oil and not one that claims to be. There are so many fake Olive Oils on the market it is a bit disturbing. I never buy an Olive Oil that is not is a very dark bottle or not organic, I think this helps a lot in getting what one hopes is real Olive Oil. The other oil I use when I use Oils is Grape Oil. I never use Canola Oil as I feel it is a very toxic product. The manner in which Canola Oil is processed is not what I would refer to as consumer friendly.
