Hi Ginny,

Sugar free gum is fine as long as it doesn’t contain artificial sweeteners and aspartame. Gum also has a funny way of confusing the stomach into thinking food is coming. When it fails to arrive you might become ravenous! Not that it affects your weight loss but almost every gum contains aspartame. Check labels. It is the same thing that is in Diet Coke. Not to mention it is so very bad for your brain. Just google aspartame and how it is made. You will never chew it again or drink another Diet Coke!
