Hi Don. Welcome to you and your wife. Your wife could be a lot like me and has one of those metabolisms that just doesn’t like to let go of weight. There are several things that could cause this. Is she drinking half of her body weight per day in water? That is critical to weight loss. Even if she drinks tea or coffee she needs to still get that water in. I even add Lemon to my water to help prevent fluid retention which prevents weight loss. Is she getting her calories in? If not, her body could go into starvation mode and not burn calories. Also she needs to get some exercise. That helps in weight loss as well. Make sure she gets 3 meals and 2 snacks. They are important and that she gets her vitamins and drops timely each day.
