Hi Sabrina,
I workout 4-5x a week and only days I lift heavy weights that I add in an additional apple or more protein. I know I need it even though I had worked for only 40mins. I think my body just screams for more, however, when I do spinning or yoga for 45 mins, I usually stay in the 1000 cals. Hopefully that helps.
