What always works for me, even though I’ve been told I shouldn’t do it, is weigh every day. Seeing that I am making progress towards my goal 1st thing in the morning keeps me motivated throughout the day. I also don’t beat myself up for small inconsistencies. If I eat something I shouldn’t I feel worse beating myself up all day for it and tend to want to quit. I let it go and get back on track. The positive attitude goes a long way towards getting to goal.
