They do say alcohol is prohibited on this diet. I however have had a few glasses on wine on a few nights. I did find myself to feel the effects from one drink. I also made sure that I ate sensibly and the next day I hadnt gained any weight. But next time I drank at a graduation (last weekend), I put on an extra 3 pounds (too many glasses of vino). But I did a very low-calorie day the next day, and I’m back down to where I was before. But I watched the scale like a hawk.
So the bottom line is, you could have a drink, but it may hault your progress. I’m headed to phase 2 shortly, I wouldn’t have don’t it in the beginning. Also I exercise so I tried to allot the extra calories.
