Hi @Lisa71, According to Dr. Jason Fung, in his book, “The Obesity Code”, diluted vinegar has long been a tonic for weight loss. It was rumored that Cleopatra drank vinegar in which pearls had been dissolved. He states short-term studies suggest that vinegar may help reduce insulin resistance. Two teaspoons of vinegar taken with a high carb meal lowers blood sugar and insulin levels. Type 2 diabetics drinking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar diluted in water at bedtime reduced their fasting morning blood sugars. Higher doses of vinegar seem to increase satiety. But don’t expect rapid weight loss. Hope that helps. I haven’t gotten into the habit, but I may over time. Good luck.
