I too noticed the “feeling better” the first week.
Keep with the program, I think that weight loss is hard because of hormones/menopause. However, this type of food will normalize your hormones. It may just take your body a bit longer for those hormone levels to start to normalize, but as you follow the program I am sure that your weight loss (and the feeling better) will accelerate.
