We get asked a lot about alcohol and the diet. The most common question is “will it break the diet” and the short answer is “no”. Although we do not recommend alcohol in Phases 1 or 2 if you did have one drink once in awhile it would mostly only have a short term side effect of weight stall. Drinking too much alcohol however can not only stall your weight loss but make your hormones get out of balance increase cravings for sugar and carbohydrates and therefore forcing you to “break” the diet.
