Dear Laura, Welcome! Congratulations on the first five pounds! Wow! Nuts will quickly get you to the 1000 calorie mark and are a good source of protein. I throw some walnuts and almonds in with my salads or just eat them plain. I usually eat 1/4 cup almonds with 1 cup blueberries for my morning snack around 10 am. So that’s my answer! Hope it helps!
