We all are aware at this point that meal planning, and prep work is very important when trying to stay on track with healthy eating choices. When thinking about meal prep, Tupperware containers are very important! There are so many options to choose from and many of them can be either way too large, or too small for proper portion needs. I need help here.. what are some of your suggestions regarding meal prep containers, and where to buy them?

I bought a large 32 piece set on Amazon. I love that they are made of glass which feels “safer” to me as far as reheating in the microwave goes. Also the glass can go into the oven which is great for prepping a meal like shepherd’s pie in advance and cooking later in the week!
March 3, 2016 at 7:35 pm #1849I like to do mason jars for salads, it keeps them so fresh, just get the wide mouth jars. I also have several of the smart meals to go – not sure of the brand but can look when I am home and let you know if interested. I think glass is much safer in regards to not getting any toxins leeched into the food.

It makes me so nervous to put food into plastic anymore, I made a little bit of an investment when I went with glass, but overall you are still saving money compared to eating out 🙂 I need to try the mason jar salad idea, I love that!
June 16, 2016 at 9:28 pm #6061I recently purchased some meal containers that are plastic and state they are BPA free. Is that ok to use or is glass the best way to go?
