I have read several times on the benefit of ACV mixed with water when weight loss is stalled. Can you still gain the benefits of ACV when mixed with protein shake to mask the flavor?
May 20, 2016 at 4:16 pm #4944Sorry for the delay in response Brad! Yes it is OK to put ACV in a protein shake. I personally feel like just drinking it in hot water is best, but I think you are certainly able to reap the benefits of ACV when it is mixed in a shake, as long as the shake ingredients are plan compliant. Great question!
May 21, 2016 at 3:32 am #4983Thanks Jessica, that will help. I tried the water option but you are a better person than I.
May 25, 2016 at 1:08 am #5226I now make an apple cider salad dressing using an Italian seasoning packet, a little packet of Stevie, and (optional) a small amount of olive oil. I actually like the flavor without the oil. This way I get a low-fat low calorie dressing with the benefits of getting my ACV,

May 25, 2016 at 9:39 pm #5253That sounds like a delicious way to work ACV into your diet! I may need to try this one!
Great idea 🙂October 28, 2016 at 6:22 pm #9859Hi Brad…how much ACV do you put in your shake?
October 28, 2016 at 6:22 pm #9860Hi how much ACV and water do you drink and how many times a day/week?
October 28, 2016 at 7:49 pm #9868I personally just do it once a day in the mornings, I add about 1 tbsp to warm water, you could also add a little lemon juice too if you desire and I mix it up. I don’t think it is necessary to do more than once a day really. Its a nice little jolt and the bonus is that if you are a coffee drinker like myself, I have my coffee after and it is even more enjoyed lol!
October 28, 2016 at 9:49 pm #9887I just put about 1 tbs in my shake
November 10, 2016 at 12:52 am #10045I do the Braggs ACV with a tsp of local honey. I heavy my water then add the ingredients and drink it at night as a hot tea. Is that okay to do on phase 1 since it as the honey?
November 10, 2016 at 5:02 am #10060Technically no on the honey in Phase 1, but if it is not hampering your results I think you would be ok.
December 20, 2016 at 8:21 pm #10544I’ve been drinking ACV for years. Yes Brad it does take the “down it and be done” mentality. I drink mine, two tablespoons with about two cups of water right before I hit the sack. Incredible dreams. I do it about three to four days in a row then stop one day then repeat. I don’t know why but it gets to the point that i feel guilty if I quit. Always rinse out your mouth good after you down it.
July 8, 2017 at 7:47 pm #17992Is it okay to do max. 2 tbls/day with warm water, 1/2 lemon zest and cayenne pepper with Phase 1 of the PS1000 diet? What are the cons of taking 2 ACV tablets instead? What about probiotics? Is it ok/recommended to take those during Phase 1 with/without ACV? Thanks!
July 9, 2017 at 6:56 pm #18018I’m curious what flavor protein shake the ACV seems to taste best in? I can’t picture putting it in my peanut butter or vanilla flavored shake. And I often use almond or coconut milk and sometimes a couple tablespoons plain greek yogurt. I would think I should leave those out if using the ACV and just stick to water and the protein powder and ice? And maybe a little cinnamon? Thoughts?
July 9, 2017 at 8:14 pm #18026I do add my ACV along with cinnamon in my peanut butter shake. Really not to bad.
