So I have pretty much reached my goal! Yay! Still want about 3 more pounds to be sure I can keep below a certain number…you know.
But here are some really cool things:

I can tuck in my shirts now!

I wore a belt for the first time in years yesterday! Now granted that my waist is not the same as it used to be because babies and decades have made that the case but I wore a belt and it felt great!

I can wear the clothes I had put away wondering if I would ever wear them again. And I wish that I had not given some of them away.

I feel so much better about how I look, I am not embarrassed and feel the need to cover up as I did when heavier.

I can add more foods and calories! And they are not hurting me; I am holding steady. Not going to go overboard but so happy that with summer coming I have finally lost the weight that I have wanted to lose for years.

    And how about for you?

Linda – Congratulations and WAY TO GO!!! You have amassed a whole bunch of non-scale victories. I know what you mean about the number you want to stay at but it pales in comparison to how great you feel in your clothes and that incredible feeling of no longer feeling embarrassed about how you look. I am anticipating the day I can start phase two (makes me a little nervous too) and looking forward to the summer months when I can feel good in a pair of shorts instead of hiding in sweats. All the best, Robyn

Linda – that is great to hear. I am in Phase 2 at the moment. I have just started the third week and will be starting Phase 1 again May 1. I thought at the beginning that Phase 2 was going to be hard especially when you have to add new foods and calories. I am enjoying it and so far I am only 1lb up since I last finished Phase 1. I only weigh myself on Sundays, looks like I am keeping it off. Thanks for sharing and hopefully someone else will find this extremely excited. I find that there are not much info posted in Phase 2, I wish there were more – LOL.

Another good thing about Phase 2 is going to phase 3! And I am wearing belts again! I can tuck in my shirt! So I reached my goal and a little more. I wanted the little more so that when the occasion comes to eat out or something else, I do enjoy the meal and if I am up a pound or two, I “phase 1” it for a couple days and then am back down below my goal. I think my body has adjusted to the new ‘set’ weight! This program is SO worth it! And when you read articles on healthy eating, you realize this is exactly what you have been doing. With the weight loss can also come a decrease in blood pressure and for those on some meds…even to not needing them anymore and this can be blood pressure meds, cholesterol meds, and even some oral diabetic meds…all those things may be possible! Also to lose weight if someone is in the obese zone means much less pain and wear and tear for the back, hips, knees, and ankles. So many reasons to give PS1000 a try and change the way you look at food…not to live to eat but, as they say, to eat to live!!!

Thanks to the originators of this program!

Congrats… that’s so awesome, and motivating to me! I’m just venturing off phase 2, and back on phase 1 again tomorrow! I’m looking forward to wearing some of my favorite clothes that have been packed away for years! Keep up the good work!
