Book says to not cook with coconut oil, however recipes on site include cooking with coconut oil.
The book was supposed to be updated a while back but yes coconut oil has been an approved oil now. It is a fantastic oil to cook with, it is a more stable cooking oil and it tastes amazing!
If using in place of olive oil, just use the same amount you would normally use.
