Is it okay to use condiments such as mustard or A1 steak sauce? These are 2 of my favorites.

Instead of mustard try to find a good quality dijon that has very few ingredients and no added sugars. Try to use things like juice from oranges, limes, lemons, etc to jazz up a meal. Also depending on the phase you are in, but later on you could try your hand at making your own sauces with whole ingredients. Another trick to make meat taste yummier is making an easy balsamic vinaigrette with a little olive oil, balsamic vinegar, some good quality dijon and salt and pepper. Dip meat in that and see how amazing it can be!
