AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0Welcome Trish!
I have been on the program about a week and a half and I am loving it. I get to eat more than I think I ever had when dieting. This is more of a lifestyle change and that is exactly what I wanted. I wanted to learn to eat the right food as well as lose weight to get healthy. I feel better than I have felt in a long time. Everyone is so helpful on this site as well as on Facebook. Let me know if I can ever be of assistance!March 23, 2017 at 1:27 am #14120Welcome Trish! Shirley is absolutely right. You will be able to eat a lot on this plan. And it is all healthy! You are stepping towards a new healthier you. Lean on us for support and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Way to take the first step!
I have 100 pounds to lose and I’m already down 25 pounds after 5 weeks. I started my 6th week today. I anticipate doing the phases again, but trying the new recipes has been a pleasure. I’m looking forward to all of it because this is a JOURNEY and a lifelong commitment.
I’m still excited!!March 23, 2017 at 12:56 pm #14132Welcome This is the best new lifestyle change you will ever make. I am one week short of completing phase one and I have lost over 35 pounds. Plan out what you will eat for the week to include prepping your snacks etc. Being prepared helps eliminate bad choices. Use the recipes on this site as they are all very good. Remember we are all here for you and will support you in what ever way possible. Always remember YOU GOT THIS!!!!
March 23, 2017 at 2:04 pm #14135Thanks all! A couple of my coworkers have been doing for about a month, and have done very well. Of interest to me was that they never complained about being tired or hungry. I have well over 100 lbs to lose and needed a good boost to start, and I know this will do it. I lost the first 12 or so pre-plan, and am very pleased that my first official weigh-in today coincides with my breaking the 300lb ‘barrier’!! My start weight for this plan is 299.0! So I’m off to a good start! It’s great to see how well each of you has done, and the positive environment here. Thanks again!
March 23, 2017 at 5:54 pm #14144Woo-hoo! Go Jennifer!!! Congrats on the success. I am so proud of you!
March 23, 2017 at 6:01 pm #14145Trish, congrats on breaking the new weight barrier. I bet that felt great. I’m waiting on a weight barrier myself. I started at 229.6 even though my highest was 233. I need to get down to 130 so I have 100 pounds to lose.
I’m just thinking… it is a good feeling to be able to talk about my numbers without feeling shame. I can’t be this free with other people. I am where I am and that is okay.
After 5 weeks I’m down to 206.3 and when I hit 199 I’m getting my cholesterol checked.
This plan has been amazing for me. I’m losing weight and inches and feeling great. I’m not worried about repeating the phases because it really seems easy so far.
Best of luck!!!
March 23, 2017 at 10:58 pm #14155Wow Vanessa, you are doing awesome! Well done! I know exactly what you mean about sharing those numbers with this group, and I have been surprised at how comfortable I am doing so! Many of those same thoughts have crossed my mind. Thank you, and best of luck to you as well!!!
