Hello! I know the instructions state to use the drops 15 minutes prior to eating a meal. This may be a dumb question, but does it matter if the drops are taken longer than that before eating? Wondering if it would be OK to take the drops when I leave in the morning, then I drink a protein shake when I get to work. It would be about 30-45 minutes from the time of taking the drops. Just wondering if the 15 minutes was a hard/fast rule

    Hi Jenni,

I am in the same boat as well, I take my drops prior to leaving for work which takes about 25 mins. Once I get to the office I have my breakfast which is usually cottage cheese or protein shake. I believe taking the drops 15min prior to eating is let them absorb in your body. Anyone else has another explanation?

It is not a hard fast rule- the longer you wait is totally fine! That marker is set in place so that you do not eat or drink too soon so your body can absorb the drops!

    Hope this helps

I am wondering if I can take both drops at the same time?

Liz – I don’t know if there is a hard/fast rule about this but I found that the extra boost I needed from the vitamin B drops (near mid-day) came right about the time I was taking my metabolic drops before lunch. I take them about 5 minutes apart from each other and then wait for the absorption 15 minutes before eating. It has worked for me but if there is a reason we shouldn’t do it this way, I’d like to know as well.

    Hi Liz,

If you are taking the B Complex and the metabolic burst, it is best not to take them together. Each does their own “thing” and so it is best to space them out so that they can absorb separately. Take the B Complex with your multi vitamin in the morning, or at near the afternoon when you feel energy decreasing. Take the metabolic burst drops 3 times per day about 15 minutes before each main meal: breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

    Hope this helps
