I started out only able to withstand 15 minutes of exercise 3 days a week (old injuries). I now can do 30 minutes of exercise 4-5 days a week without taking damage, but I’m gaining weigh. I have not increased my calories or drops since I can’t do 60 minutes a day yet. Should I try eating more? I’m very hungry by the time I can eat again, and I’m growing tired of eating extra greens to tide me over between meals.
February 8, 2017 at 10:58 am #12113I asked this question of the nutritionist, and the answer is to increase a bit. Sounds like the consecutive piece isn’t a strict rule.
February 8, 2017 at 2:30 pm #12117I know that I do about an hour Monday through Friday so I increase my drops by 0.2ml and my calories just a bit (1100-1200) and I am not hungry. On the weekends I go back to the normal 0.5ml and 900-1000 calories. I noticed that when I started this and was doing my morning walk/run and I did not increase the drops I did get hungry but since I added the 0.2 ml my hunger has gone away. I also make sure that I follow my workout with a high protein snack. I also have my protein, fruit, and spinach smoothie about 30 mins. before I start. I feel like protein keeps me fuller longer. I hope this both makes sense and helps. GOOD LUCK!!!
February 8, 2017 at 8:10 pm #12151Thanks for the feedback. I usually do eat something (fruit or protein) 30 minutes before exercising and then finish breakfast afterward. I will try increasing the drops and food, especially protein, just a bit.

February 17, 2017 at 2:28 pm #12563Thanks, Angel. I’ve been eating a piece of fruit 30 minutes before exercise and having protein (the rest of my breakfast) just after. I’ve also increased the amount of calories and drops that I consume on exercise days, and I feel much better.
