I failed myself today. I have been waiting for what seem like forever for my drops. They finally came and I got scared that I would mess up so I went to burger king. I took three bites of the burger and knew I was making a mistake. I’m trying to start but I don’t think I’m strong enough to stay with it. I love food but I want to feel pretty when wearing a dress. My name is Tee and I’m new to the community.

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0Hi Tee- Fret not! Making a change to any part of our lives is a scary thing. And the bigger the change the scarier it can be. Take a deep breath, a step back and look at the change you are going to make with a new perspective. Instead of thinking that you have to become perfect overnight, break apart what you are going to do into small achievable steps. It takes a while to develop a habit and a bit longer to reverse an established habit and develop a new one. You are stronger than you think. You can do this!
May 22, 2017 at 1:25 pm #16565You are so right, step by step. Lol @ Tee-fret not. Thanks so much. I really needed that. Its 620am on my side of town. It is a new day, a new beginning, a new start. Thanks again.
May 22, 2017 at 1:39 pm #16568Hello Tee and welcome. Sometimes it’s better to take a couple of days and prepare before you actually start. Since the drops are there now, it’s more “real” than when you were waiting. Maybe take a day or two to make sure you have all the foods you need for at least the 1st week and purge your fridge and pantry. Sometimes it helps to maybe eat that one thing you love one last time before you commit. At least it has worked for me in the past. If you do mess up, get right back on the train and get the next meal right and keep it moving. Positive attitude will go a lot further towards helping you get to your goal than beating yourself up. As far as loving food, it’s not like you’re going to stop eating, you’re just going to be eating clean. You will be amazed once you start how much you a) don’t miss the junk and b) if you do slip and try the junk, it will not be as appetizing or fulfilling as you thought it was going to be. Good luck and check in here often. We will be rooting for you!
May 22, 2017 at 5:30 pm #16578We all have those moments. The best part about this program for me is everytime I’m “cheating” I’m much more aware of it. And that’s a huge step forward at least.
You’re fine. Keep your head up!
May 22, 2017 at 10:39 pm #16588thank you all for those words. Rochelle that is go to know as far as the bad food not being appetizing or fulfilling. I have been eating “clean” in preps for this plan. Yesterday was a huge oops, I meal prep my meals for this week however the cod I prepared tastes horrible. Anyway, yes I will use this site as much as possible because I must admit I am one that love to have people that can relate rather than those that cant. thanks again ladies
May 23, 2017 at 7:36 pm #16626@PhlufyChikk, I have to admit, I ate cod for the 1st time last week and thought it was horrible too! Wish I hadn’t bought so much!
May 24, 2017 at 6:48 pm #16659Hi Tee! Get yourself some organic stevia for that sweet tooth. Make sure it has only stevia as the ingredient. I made the mistake of buying Stevia in the RAW and it has an added ingredient. I have not got the new stuff yet but I ordered both on Amazon and I can’t return the first one. I guess there is a big difference in bitterness. Don’t feel too bad, I have been using MyFitnessPal and just getting used to it. Made a big mistake creating a recipe and ended up having a bunch more calories per serving than I thouht! THIS IS A MARATHON, IT IS NOT A SPRINT. We have lots of time to try and fail, it’s ok at least we are trying. My first week I lost 6 lbs. Mostly water weight I’m sure but I weighed today and I have lost over 10 lbs. It took a long time to put on all the weight. Be kind and patient with yourself and have the mind set that it will take a long time to get it off and keep it off.
