I’m getting started this weekend. The book and drops arrived Friday, I read most of the book yesterday. I’ve been working on eating better the last couple of days. I guess I started today because I started the drops. Do the drops give you energy? I’m a single mom to a 5 year old with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy. She’s a smart, joyful rising kindergartner! I also work full time. My daughter’s physical needs can be related to caring for a 6 month old, 100% physically dependent on me for all positioning, support, dressing, eating, bathing, etc. I’m constantly doing something, but today I have not been dragging and have even taken on some extra projects.

Welcome to the group!
Having a child that is physically dependent, I would recommend that you definitely take a good multivitamin each day as is recommended in the book. Also, listen to your body. If you are feeling low on energy because of physical demands, you may need to up your calories above the recommended 1000 per day. On days that I have more physical demands, like house cleaning days, etc., I usually eat more at lunch time to replenish my energy levels.
Good luck on the plan!

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0Hi Rebecca- I just wanted to welcome you to the plan! You sound incredibly busy and that you want to make this positive change in your eating habits is amazing! When we are responsible for caring for someone other than just ourselves, it is even more important to take care of ourselves. I also experienced increased energy when I started the program and attributed it to a combination of eating clean along with both drops (metabolic burst and vitamin B). I wish you great success!
