Question should we be using nonfat or 2% plain Greek yogurt and why.
January 24, 2017 at 1:14 am #11630Technically you should use the nonfat Greek yogurt in order to save a little calories and not have to count the fat. However I find that regular Greek yogurt actually makes me feel more full. If you go for regular 1 cup counts for 1 fat serving for the day. Does this help?

January 25, 2017 at 9:10 pm #11678Awe thanks Jennifer!
Robyn, no flavored greek yogurt, the sugar additives are not a good thing. As far as the Greek yogurt goes, my favorite brand is Chobani Plain non-fat Greek. In 1 cup there is 130 calories, 0 g fat and about 22 grams of protein. It has minimal ingredients which makes it a fantastic choice. Add some diced apples, a few dashes of cinnamon and a squeeze of a fresh orange and you have a very filling protein source.
Hope that helps!

February 8, 2017 at 6:42 pm #12143My favorite 0% Greek yogurt is FAGE; it’s also a little cheaper. Yogurt, stevia, thinly sliced apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg make a great breakfast.

April 8, 2017 at 10:50 pm #14811What about having 3/4 cup of Oikos Triple Zero yogurt? 1 cup has 170 calories, and the stevia and vanilla flavor is already in it.
