I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself! I just received my package today. I am going to start Day 1 on Monday. I’m going to take the weekend to mentally prepare, grocery shop, and “purge” all of the carbs/sugars/no-nos from my house. I’m super excited to start, however, I have a couple trips planned in March. How do you all handle traveling and staying true to the program? One of my trips will be back home to Texas for a week. I know there is no way I am going to be able to be “good”, however, I want to at least try. Any suggestions?? =)

Welcome! Getting the junk food out of the home is SMART! Nice work, that means no temptations. You shouldn’t be intimidated by trips! You can still prep and plan your snacks to take along with you and just be mindful of eating healthier meals while dining out. If you can get to a grocery store it is important, so that you are constantly fueling with food you would eat at home versus eating out Every single meal. Check out some of the articles on the blog, there are a few on travel and sticking to the program!
