There are times when i don’t feel like a full serving of one of the approved foods (i only eat 1/2 the 6oz. allowed of yogurt). Do i count this as 1/2 protein or a full protein in my food journal. the folks on the facebook support site are saying it’s a full count. Am I correct in assuming this is more about caloric intake of the approved foods than quantity?
also, does lettuce, spinach, etc. count towards calories or not? the approved list says no, but then the sample menus count the calories?????
I would really appreciate clarification! Much thanks.

If you only eat 1/2 the serving size, then you should only count it as the 1/2 serving. At least that’s my understanding. When I first started, my focus was on getting 5 servings, but with the meat it says ‘up to’ 5oz, honestly, my focus is mostly just doing the best I can to follow it. On days when I do really well, I feel sooooooooooo much better than other days. Good luck!
