So I can eat the turkey bites as a snack for phase 1? I’ve been sticking to exactly the foods in the book. Also, the book says 2fruits a day- can I have more than two, like a third one as a snack?

So far my go to snacks are grapes or cucumbers. I used cottage cheese as a dip for my cucumbers yesterday on a complete whim, and LOVED it. I also hit up hard boiled eggs which are easily one of my favorite snacks.

I used to eat cheese sticks all the time at school, but unfortunately I can’t have that until phase 2. I miss my cheese.

I just noticed that there is a new article posted 2 days ago about 20 healthy on-to-go snack options. It’s got some good suggestions!

Hey … I wondered this also about more than 2 fruit servings, my guess would be no to keep sugars lower. I’ve been splitting up my fruit servings and halving whenever I have it so I can have a little at different times. I also really like cucumbers, typically even when I’m craving fruit, the cucumber will work for me.

How about almonds with a cup of tea? I just started an experiment boiling unsweetened almond milk, add ginger and a tea bag, it is not bad. It takes care of the hunger and only 30cal per cup.
