I am wondering if occasional beverages like Ice or other unsweetened waters are allowed? I’m starting yo miss a little bubbley every now and then.

I don’t think we are supposed to have anything that is not on the list for phase 1. I did drink one zero calorie Diet Ginger Ale this last week and I didn’t lose any weight. I wondered if the artificial sweetener in it caused my weight to stand still. Anxious to see what the nutritionist has to say.

Thanks for your thoughts Shirley. I was even thinking of a lemon Peirier water. Im sure you see some weight loss this week. These bodies of ours are funny things.

Hi Deb, I sure hope I see results this week. I am really missing my Whole wheat breads and diet ginger ale. If I don’t lose this week, I am just gonna take the drops, eat healthy foods even if not on the plan. I don’t think the Lemon Perrier water would hurt unless it is full of fructose. Good luck this week.

Hi Shirley. I have made my own “sodas” with Perrier, stevia and a few drops of flavored extract, in the past. But was advised not to consume more than 1 carbonated beverage a week. Hoping to find out if its allowed. Just keep in mind all the good you have already done and keep being kind to yourself. Your body with thank you. Good luck this week. I’m excited for a brand new week of yummy foods!!!!

Plain San Pellegrino with a splash of lemon juice is quite scrummy. I don’t see why this wouldn’t be allowed on the plan. There’s nothing artificial added to the Pellegrino and the lemon gives it a touch of flavor without buying the pre-flavored sparkling waters which have artificial flavorings and sometimes sweeteners. Might be worth trying if you want some bubbly 🙂

I just joined the program and I’m ecstatic to hear that I won’t need to give my La Croix! Thanks for the info!

I was excited to hear about this brand too. Went shopping and have decided to keep some on hand for those special occasions.
