Hi Sue, I am right there with you!! What I found works for me is making a cup of the PM tea…or a herbal tea and add stevia as a sweetener. It has really helped to eliminate my cravings and satisfy my “sweet tooth.”

I am on day 6 of my second time doing the phase 1, I have found out saving my apple till evening has helped me with my sugar crave and snack crave in the evening. I cut in in slices and enjoy it when I am watching tv and it seems to be working for me. If it has been a long time over 2 hours since you ate and you get this craving you may have low sugar and our book did say you can have a third fruit a day if needed. Give it a try and hang in there and you won’t be sorry – you will be stronger and overcome!

Wow! Great ideas. Those were going to be my suggestions too. I love sweets! Fruit helped. I also splurged on my favorite tea that tastes sweet to me. Those seem to work.

One more idea to really fight the sweet craving, especially for chocolate lovers. Enjoy a Fat Bomb. Made with cocoa powder and coconut oil. I make mine in ice cube tray and always have them on hand. Look for recipes on http://www.ditchthecarbs.com.
