Hi Everyone, my name is Evelina. I have been with the program for over 3 years now. Excited to see so much new info here.
Where is everyone from and what are your goals?
I am originally from a small country in Europe, have been in the US for over 15 years now, so I call it home 🙂
I have lost 90 pounds and looking to lose 10 more for a grand total of 100. It has been hard but I know I can do it 🙂March 2, 2016 at 1:08 am #1588Hi everyone. I started the program 3 weeks ago and can already feel a difference! I am so happy that we have this Web site now to help each other along the way and learn from each other! I look forward to the journey together!
March 2, 2016 at 2:47 am #1610Hello, my name is Kim. I’ve been in this program for 1 week and counting. I am married with 2 sons. I appreciate the connection I am receiving with this program. It really helps me to know that I am not in this by myself. I love the support system!
March 2, 2016 at 2:52 am #1611Hello all my name is Nancy and I’m from northern Ca.
I have been with the program for about 3 months.
So far I have lost 15lbs. looking to lose another 15 or more.
I’m loving this plan way more than the other diet plans I have been on.
We are strong and we can do this!!!March 2, 2016 at 3:28 am #1623Hi, My name is Ellen (Ellie). I have been a member of PS1000 for 1 year and lost 35 pounds on the program. It took about 9 years to lose close to 100 pounds. It seems I would always get to my half way point and have trouble getting to goal and gain weight again. The last few years I learned so much about nutrition and exercise, as well as, how to work with my Thyroid disease. After losing weight with this program I was able to stop taking medicine for High Cholesterol and High Blood pressure. I continue to take medicine for my Thyroid. This year I will have been married 23 years and I am my smallest weight since I was in Grade School. I live in Washington State with my husband Jeff and our dog Sahara. I am working to lose about 5 pound as I feel more comfortable being at least 5 pounds under my goal of 138.
March 2, 2016 at 11:55 am #1633Hello, my name is Brad and I am a PS Loser. I am from Texas. I began the program in May of last year. I have lost 45 lbs with a goal of another 35. I am feeling and looking better. It is nice when others notice. It just makes all the hard work worth the reward. I am so thankful for the support group that comes with this program. You all rock. Thank you and stay strong.
March 2, 2016 at 3:00 pm #1644Hi, my name is Pat Harmer and I have been a member since 2014. I have had some time away from the program and I am now back to reach my goal weight. Not sure what that is as it keeps changing! I will be 65 in June. I am originally from England and came to Canada 25 years ago. I have 2 daughters and 2 grandsons. I have spent most of my life on a diet. My daughter once said she couldn’t remember a time when I wasn’t dieting. The best advice I could give to people is, if you need to lose some weight, do it the first time around and keep it off, don’t spend a lifetime yoyo dieting like I did. All I have gained over time is an extra 100lb!
March 3, 2016 at 2:30 am #1781Hi everyone, I started this journey one month ago and have lost 9 lbs. Yeah! I have 10 lbs. to go. I am only 4’11 and it seems hard for me to lose. I know the last 10 lbs. will be tough. I can do it, I just need to stick with it. I live in cold, northern Ohio. I love the great outdoors. I have been enjoying a protein pancake made with 1 scoop of the Quest Salted Caramel, 1 egg and a few tablespoons of unsweetened almond milk to make a pancake batter consistency. I top it with 1/2 c. berries cooked in a small amount of water, 1 packet stevia and 1/2 t. cornstarch to thicken. It makes a nice thick pancake and is so good and gives me something to look forward to. I am not sure that the cornstarch is approved for phase 1 but I have still been losing. The support and suggestions from everyone have been a huge part of my success. Thanks everyone for your support!!
March 3, 2016 at 5:15 am #1797Hello everyone! My name is Jessica and I am one of the Nutritionists on here. I have struggled with being overweight for most of my life, It wasn’t until my late 20’s that I started doing something about it. During my weight loss journey I have gone through many ups and downs and learned a lot of things along the way. This journey also led me to culinary school followed by getting my Bachelors of Science in Nutrition. Using my education and most importantly my own revelations, I am here to help you reach your goals as well! Do not hesitate to ask me any questions along the way.
March 3, 2016 at 7:56 am #1806Greetings!! My name is Sue Cobb, and I’m from Southern Los Angeles near the port where I am a Realtor since 1999. I am 57 years old and started with 158 lbs six weeks ago. I am now down 14 lbs and couldn’t be more thrilled of how I am feeling and look in the mirror. I hope to loose another 10-14 lbs by the end of March 2016, and we shall see how I do. With my job its difficult to have “set” hours, but learning to get my new lifestyle “organized” so I can accomplish my goals that I have set for myself. This journey couldn’t be possible without all the support and friendship you find with this group. So thank you all for your words of wisdom, suggestions, and encouragement!!
March 3, 2016 at 6:15 pm #1834Hi Everyone! My name is Judalon and I began PS1000 last year. I had a successful P1 and lost 20# in the 90 days then lost another 5# in P2 and I stayed in P2 through the holidays and was encouraged that I maintained the loss even with holiday treats. In January I got more drops to do my second round of P1 but I just have not been able to get back in the groove of P1. I’m inconsistent with my drops, been indulging in sweets (mostly chocolate and I don’t even like chocolate!) I’m up about 5# from the weight I logged when starting second round of P1. I know this is doable because I did do it the first time. I’m grateful for those who set up these support groups and for everyone who participates and shares. I really appreciate the recipes and meal plans, and each persons story gives me insight, encouragement and hope. Thank you.
March 4, 2016 at 2:34 am #1877You must feel fabulous! Great job !
March 4, 2016 at 3:21 pm #1888I just received my package last night. I will grocery shop tonight for all the required food and begin this Saturday. I am most worried about giving up chocolate and diet coke. I am hoping to lose 30 pounds, 40 would be great, but I will settle for 30. I look forward to getting to know all of you with weight loss goals too.
March 5, 2016 at 2:20 pm #1922Welcome Peggy. I would love to say don’t worry, it is so easy and you won’t miss chocolate. But I do know this, it has been much easier than I expected. I used to have big sweet tooth and thought I would go crazy, but really didn’t. The program does require some discipline. There will be ups and down. But key to success is engaging with this group, remaining focused on the end goal and don’t let daily fluctuations get you down. You can do this.
March 5, 2016 at 2:28 pm #1924Hi, my name is Sue and I am originally from England but have been her for 18years, so Virginia is my home now. I am married and have two great kids. I’ve been packing on the pounds since the birth of my second child and have been fighting some pretty serious depression the last couple of years. I feel emotionally better now and thought it was time to take charge of the weight gain. I have the packet of PS1000 and plan to start this coming week. I work a mix of nights and days with my job so timing is gonna be hard. Any advice on that would be appreciated. Looking forward to getting started, although also a little nervous.
