    Hello everyone.

I need to lose a hundred pounds. I had lost a lot of weight in 2011 and gained some of it back recently. My back is shot due to being so overweight. Not sure how it all works on the program so any help or pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

You will find your overall health so improved. Not only weight loss, inches, more energy but get a physical before you start. Cause after your doctor will ask ” what have you been doing” that is the true test here.

Read the book over and over. Eat the approved foods and take your drops. Cravings will stop, energy will increase….

    Good Morning,

I just joined PS1000. My goal is to lose 50lbs. I am 59 years old and weigh the most I have ever weighed at 186.2lbs for a 5ft 4in tall person. I am hoping this is a diet that will help me lose weight fast and help me managed my weight for a lifetime. I hope this works. I know I do better if I see fast results in the beginning. It helps with my motivation. Engaging in a good exercise program will be a challenge for me since I work 10 to 12 hours everyday with one hour drive (one way). So any tips on getting more excercise into my work day will be greatly appreciated.

First of all you got this and from what I have seen in my short time with this group you really do have the support of people who not only know what you are going through but they really do care. I joined the face book group and I have gotten answers to some of my questions. They also just give me hope and support. I know that 100 pounds seems like a huge obstacle but you can do this and we will all help you. Ask questions…Read the book.. Ask questions again, we are in this together.

I can hardly wait to wear clothes I have set aside as they were too tight! Don’t need to keep shopping for larger sizes either. Looking forward to not having to wear loose fitting or disguising clothes but rather not minding how I look. And to have my blouses fit again!

Hi – I have just started the program – also waited almost a week for the product. I am 65 years old and post menopausal and the heaviest I have ever been. I need to lose 25 – 30 lbs. I tried Weight Watchers last year, unsuccessfully, probably because it isn’t strict enough for me. I almost ordered Nutrisystem, but realize that it is unrealistic in the real world. PS1000 seems like a good option as I also need to see results quickly in the beginning. I must say I was disappointed in the booklet – was hoping for more ideas about meal planning. I am not particularly internet savvy, and would really like having something written down on paper. I was also hoping for something on the phone to use as I go through my day – a mobile app. Any suggestions? I have downloaded the free 7 day meal planner, and plan to start that tomorrow. In the meantime will try to navigate through day 2. While I understand that eating out should not be done during phase 1, that is a bit unrealistic. I already went out to dinner last night (day 1), and have a baby shower to attend today. I will do my best to navigate the menu and select included foods. Look forward to connecting with everyone. Thanks. Sally

Sally – The FB page gives great recipes and menu options. Definitely use it as a resource. MealPlan is a great app for first time planners – it helps you plan your meals and organize grocery lists. MyFitnessPal is another great one. Best of luck on your healthy journey!

Sally – A good cookbook will also contain recipes that fit this meal plan, although some may need a little tweeking (ex. coconut oil for butter). That way you can choose foods that you enjoy while staying within the plan guidelines.

Dinah- Walk as much as possible. If you work in an office, there are exercises you can do in your cubicle-stretches, passive resistance. Also, stand periodically while you work.

So wonderful that you are starting on this journey with the rest of us! I’ve found so much positive support in just the few days I’ve joined! I am starting Monday and am looking forward to feeling better and healthier! Hoping this helps to get my hormones in balance so that I might have an easier time getting pregnant! That’s the goal I am working on! I want to be healthier when I do get pregnant!

Everything is possible when it becomes the most important thing in our lives.
Lins, Maurice, Dinah and everyone, we all really do have this!!!
great group here, so many who have walked the walk and so many just starting together.
staying on course, logging every bite, and planning and food prep ahead of time is so very important too, at least for me
