    Welcome!! Take a look through the forums for some tips. Everyone will tell you to plan ahead. Take a look at the recipes and get your groceries for the week. Plan in snacks. Your manual will give you a list of allowed foods and you can shop off of that. Proteins like chicken and fish will be awesome. Snacks like apples, raw almonds and raw veggies will help you between meals. Good luck and have fun with the recipes!!

    Welcome to the group! I agree with Vanessa. Visit the forums. Ask any questions you have. There is such an awesome support system here. Everyone is so friendly and full of great information, tricks, how-to’s, etc. Also, if you FB, join their group there as they post a lot of great recipes there too 🙂

    Hello everyone,

    I just received my order in the mail today for my husband and I and we are super excited! I am really looking forward to this plan. I am so super psyched that we are able to eat things like fish, chicken and shrimp will be great! I noticed the recipes and many favorable reviews and sound delicious too. Anyway look forward to going through the journey.

    Welcome Patricia! You will find great support here as well as great ideas as you move forward. There is a wide variety of food that you can eat and many good recipes. Tonight I ate ground turkey with taco seasoning (best to make your own!) and black beans. Yum! You could add in some salsa or avocado for even more flavor. It was seriously delicious. My husband ate it with cheese and nachos since he is not on the diet. Tomorrow I will have spaghetti squash with shrimp and pickled veggies while husband and guest will have penne pasta. My point is that you can take your usual favorites like nachos or pasta and just make minor adjustments. You’ll find that they can be delicious!!! Good luck to you!

    Happy Sunday, Everyone. I just ordered the plan, and I am excited but nervous. I have a fear of not knowing how to do this because I haven’t ever been successful dieting. I flunked weight watchers twice. 😉

    Welcome Katherine! You are in the right place. There is a whole group of people who want to help you and give you support. Try to think of this as a lifestyle change and not a diet.
    My doctors mentioned surgery and I decided that I would have to make a change regardless. Why not try it without the surgery? I’m three weeks into the program and I finally have HOPE. I can do it and you can too!
    Start with the food first if you haven’t been exercising. Your body will need a little time to adjust to the new calorie norm and the lack of sugar and simple carbs.
    Weight watchers is a diet program and this isn’t. This will be with you forever. Ps1000 will help you add back in the grains eventually so you are never alone. Check out the recipes and find what you like. Don’t make your first grocery list too big. You can only eat so much. Think about planning out the day and week. There are free sample menus in the store and in the book you will get. Good luck!

    I did not flunk WW I am a 3 time WW lifetime member so I flunked maintenance…3 times…really. The good thing about this is this is not a temporary diet to get you to a goal and then drop you. This is a lifestyle that will teach you about not only about food but about yourself. It is not a do this eat that kind of plan. It gives you guidelines and it is up to you to plan your meals and really be accountable only to yourself. This also gives you the best support that I have ever had from both the forum and the FB Page and it is kinda nice that you are not face to face so you can really let loose and be free to say what is really on your mind. Prep and Plan your meals try things you either thought you did not like or never tried before and use the support we all offer. Don’t look at the past as you have no ability to change the outcome look at the present and towards the future because that is something you can defiantly impact. GOOD LUCK we are here for you and always remember…YOU GOT THIS AND WE GOT YOU!!!!
