I had Stage IV colon cancer 5 years ago. BUT I’m CANCER FREE now!! Since I was diagnosed I haven’t ate beef as suggested by my physician. Can I use turkey burger instead of beef?
HI Lee Ann, yes you can absolutely have turkey burgers. I believe turkey is on the list of approved food. There are a variety of protein you can have which also includes some beans [edamame is high in protein]. I like eggs or cottage cheese for breakfast. And congrats on being cancer free, that is great news.
Thanks so much! that makes me feel better. I could see myself getting sick of chicken and fish.
