Help! At night, just before I go to bed I always get this craving for sugar, or bread.. or sugar on bread! Aha! How do I stop this?? Or Avoid it! Any suggestions?

Last night I tried it, just smelling the apple cider vinegar didn’t work, so I put a teaspoon in a giant glass of water and that seemed to do the trick! Thanks for the idea 🙂April 29, 2017 at 2:56 am #15743

I don’t want sweets, I crave almonds, nuts, crackers, grapes, apples, carrots and not just a serving, I want to eat it all– the entire bag, box sack or whatever. I am alone and don’t seem to have any self control. I hate that I am doing this and I don’t want to do it, but I don’t seem to know what to do to stop. I have tried prayer, meditation, councelling. I still don’t know what to do. It started when my mom went to the nursing home and I was left home alone and stressed. If anyone has suggestions, I would be very happy to try them.

October 25, 2017 at 5:29 am #20417Hi Shirley. I’m so sad to hear about your struggles. I’m not sure if you are still on the plan or how you are doing. Is there an eating disorder clinic or therapist that specializes in that near you? Perhaps you just need to bump your calories up a bit so that you don’t feel so hungry and deprived.
