Is non-fat milk allowed in Phase I? I’ve searched here and the Facebook group and haven’t come up with anything. On page 25 of the book it says “low fat dairy products” are a proper protein. There’s lots of talk about almond or cocunut milk in recipes or meal plans, but nothing about cow milk. By the way, I just started the plan 3 days ago and have dropped 5 lbs already – pretty cool.
Hi Mark,
Cow’s milk is not allowed in phase 1. GREAT on your weight loss so far! Keep it up!

Thanks for the reply Lauren. It seems a bit odd that cottage cheese and yogurt are allowed, but fat-free milk is not. There must be a reason though, so I’ll leave it out of my menu plans. Thanks again for your help.
