    Hello
I am allergic to almonds, is there another nut that is approved besides almonds?

Pistachios are a great alternative. 1/2 cup with shells = 160 cals, 14 grams of fat and 6 grams of protein. Stick to these!

HI Jessica, Just getting started myself and have the same allergy to almonds and , unfortunately avocado. Pistachios work for me. How about sunflower seeds in phase 1

Sunflower seeds are ok, stick to 1oz for the serving size and keep them to unsalted varieties. You don’t want a high sodium sunflower seed, it will make you retain water. Sorry to hear about your allergies, just work around them and find some great alternatives. Eggs instead of avocado are good as well as some coconut oil too.

    Hope this helps!
