This is extremely discouraging for Me! I followed the plan to a “T” drank all of my water and took my drops. I even went to bed starving. Why am I up a pound today? Someone please help! So disappointed.

    Lisa,
Please don’t be discouraged. I also experienced something similar in the first few days. Your body needs time to adjust to the change in calories. I believe it’s usual to feel weak, but not sure about going to be starving….that’s what caught my attention. For me, I have been eating more often, with fewer calories. Maybe it would help to look at what you’re eating and when??? My typical day: Breakfast- oatmeal or a protein shake (Legion Whey+ is low in calories).
Snack- 1/2 cup greek yogurt with 3/4 cup berries
Lunch- 4 oz chicken, green beans, or small salad with balsamic vinegar dressing.
Snack- 2 Tbs hummus with 1 cup carrots/broccoli
Dinner- Tuna salad with balsamic vinegar & oil dressing. I use a full can of Albacore in water.
This is all under 1250 calories.
I haven’t gone to bed hungry, but I did notice extreme weakness during my workouts in the first month. I read somewhere apricots are a good energy boost….and it seemed to work. I have had ups and downs in weight over the past month, but overall I’m down 8.8 lbs. and more importantly I finally broke through the weight barrier I haven’t been able to get under in 7 years. Hang in there!! I hope you’ll find if you get past these small hurdles in the beginning, you’ll start seeing success. For what it’s worth, I have found alcohol, even 1 drink, causes my weight to stall. Also, I think it’s important for energy, that the drops are held under the tongue for 1 minute and no food or drink for 15 mins., before or after.

Hope this helps in some way. You’re on the right track! Wishing you success.

Thanks so much for your response. Yesterday was a bit better and I wasn’t as hungry as I was on day one. I was able to lose a pound so hopefully that will continue. Have not done any exercising yet but plan to in a few weeks once I get used to my new eating schedule. Thanks again and best of luck to you!
