I am trying to set up My Fitness Pal to use with my plan to keep my blog, food diary, measurements, etc.

It allows you to track more than just your calories – I can also set percentages (or grams) of carbs, fat, and protein. I’ve seen those percentages in the book for Phase 2, but does anyone have info on those percentages for phase 1?

Also, any specifics on Saturated Fat, Polyunsaturated Fat, Monounsaturated Fat, Trans Fat, Cholesterol, Sodium, Potassium, Fiber, Sugar, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron

Also, since I have a history of kidney stones, I should limit my intake of vitamin C. Anyone know of a good multi-vitamin that eliminates the Vit. C?

    Thanks!

For Phase 1 we only should be looking at serving sizes and total calories consumed. Percentage tracking is recommended once you reach Phase 3.
If you go to any health food store they would probably be able to recommend a good multivitamin. I personally stopped taking any because I feel that my diet is so good and has a good variety of nutrients that i don’t need any artificial stuff. That’s just my opinion 🙂
I do however take Omega 3 if I feel that my diet is lacking healthy fats. I used to take supplements for joint support but my knees are no longer hurting. No surprises they did hurt with almost 100 pounds of extra weight to carry.
