Can pineapple be used as a phase 1 fruit? If so, how much = 1 serving of fruit?
March 31, 2017 at 7:56 pm #14484Hi Trish,
Pineapple is not an approved fruit in Phase 1. No tropical fruits are allowed in Phase 1 due to their higher glycemic index. Too much sugar… Phase 2 though!

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0Lauren, does that include Kiwi as well?
April 3, 2017 at 3:18 pm #14578If the fruit is not on the approved foods list then it is not approved. Kiwi is not on the list unfortunately.. there is not any wiggle room with fruits on the approved foods list so it is easier to know what is cleared and what isn’t.
