Thanks Judalon, definitely going to try your ideas.
March 22, 2016 at 5:48 am #2727Costco sells a Jalapeño Greek yogurt dip. 2tbsp is 50 calories and 3.5g of fat. Great on a lettuce wrap with turkey or chicken.
Costco also sells a product called Organic Hope spicy avocado hummus. Same calories and fat as the Jalapeño dip (above). This is an awesome addition (and 1 TBSP is enough) to add to a 3 Oz packet of tuna (70 calories). Tastes like regular tuna fish and its 95 calories.
March 22, 2016 at 3:03 pm #2736Sarah that sounds delicious! Jalapeno greek yogurt is not a combination I would have thought of at all! I could see how it would taste great for things like you said with tuna. I will have to head to Costco to check that out some time! Thanks for sharing.
April 5, 2016 at 12:03 pm #3379I just started PS1000 yesterday and am searching for Phase 1 meals/snack suggestions. I love the snack list posted by Maureen Badalamente; it is so helpful! Can anyone tell me where to look for similar lists for Breakfast, Lunch & Supper?
April 11, 2016 at 6:25 pm #3650Bettye Have you checked out the recipes tab yet? If not go ahead and click on it above and when you get there you can search specifically for different categories. I try to put up new recipes often. You are going to do wonderful on this program! Have a great day.
April 14, 2016 at 6:20 pm #3748Hope, thanks or these suggestions… and I love Costco! Will go today.
April 20, 2016 at 10:36 am #3886I am enjoying all of the suggestions in this forum. I’m beginning to get the hang of this and thought I would post one of my favorite satisfying snacks. I muddle up a serving of fresh strawberries with a little stevia and add a serving of raw almonds, chopped really fine. Some days I only add 1/2 serving of almonds if my daily plan calls for a salad later on (then I can use 1/2 serving of olive oil).
June 2, 2016 at 4:19 pm #5583Heyyyyy, this was really helpful. Thank you!

August 22, 2016 at 5:00 pm #8778Hello Everyone…
Just starting the PS1000 today. I am looking forward to the challenge! I have had a a lot of my questions answered by reading through the forums, so thanks for that! However, I did not find one answer I was looking for. In regards to hard boiled eggs…what if you only eat the egg whites? Does anyone know how many calories are in one and does it still count as a protein and a fat?? I love hard boiled egg whites with hot sauce!
Thanks!August 31, 2016 at 6:12 pm #8949Egg whites count as a protein only not fat, as a full protein serving you would need to have about 5 egg whites. One egg white = 17 calories. You could also do egg white liquid too. 1/2 cup =50 calories and is 1 protein serving. So most of the protein in an egg is within the white, whereas the fat (good fat of course) is in the yolk. However if you are wanting to get your fat servings for the day in different meals then stick to the whites!
Have a good day!
October 16, 2016 at 10:25 pm #9715I eat a few roasted pumpkin seeds. It provides good taste with crunch and fits in with nuts and seeds and protein. Just don’t go overboard as they are very addictive.
October 16, 2016 at 10:27 pm #9716…alright, a handfull!
October 19, 2016 at 11:47 am #9752Maureen Badalamente, your ideas are amazing. Will be sharing it on FB if you don’t mind. Thanks.
