I started this plan 2 years ago and lost almost 30 pounds in 4 months, then I relocated for a job, got lazy, started grabbing something from one of the many, many restaurants instead of packing my lunch and am now right back where I started. Sooooo, here I go again. I think I am most of all disappointed in myself because I felt so good and wanted to buy new clothes again. I now have a closet full of cute close I can’t wear. I worry I won’t have the willpower to stay on track, but I am determined to give it my best. Start date is Tuesday because I know I won’t have the willpower over the weekend and I need to clean out the cupboards again. Wish me luck!

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0Laurie- I know you can do this again! You have the added benefit of actually experiencing how the program works for you. Congratulations on recommitting. I wish you all the best and hope I see similar results for myself. Merry Christmas!
December 29, 2016 at 5:15 pm #10678You’re doing a great job. It’s a lifelong process and a change in lifestyle. I’ve eaten out over the holidays which I was really worried about, but I stuck to drinking lemon water only and kept to salads with protein and dressing on the side. I really felt good about my choices…AND, I really just feel good. Today’s my birthday and my hubby wanted to take me out for a nice dinner, but I opted for staying at home and having a nice bowl of carrot ginger soup with chicken. I love that!I still get a craving to have something sweet after supper but have been ignoring the urge. I like just a small little square of chocolate after supper….but I’ve been refraining. It does make a difference.
December 29, 2016 at 7:26 pm #10685OK chocolate fix…..I make this all the time…coconut oil, cocoa , almonds and stevia….
I mush it up and add sliced almonds then freeze it..into small patties…love it and sweet and chocolateJanuary 18, 2017 at 11:56 am #11438I’m starting over. I lost 13 pounds the first time around (October-November 2016) but got off track during the holidays. I think I gained it all back. I’m having a hard time wanting to get back on the scale. 🙁 I’m wondering if I can expect similar results on the second time around? And I’m open to any suggestions regarding motivation. This path isn’t easy but it’s effective.
January 19, 2017 at 6:08 pm #11492It has been really hard to stay on track. I find my willpower challenged everyday. I will lose 2 pounds and then gain it back. I’m finding that any sugar at all will cause me to gain. Started doing hot yoga. I love it, but it is only two nights a week. Its a start!

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0So I find myself needing to start over as well. I was on the plan three weeks with great success. I went off plan when I went out of state for a funeral and the weight crept back on even though I kept up an exercise routine and really watched my portions. The foods were definitely not on the approved list so I am hoping that once I am back in my own kitchen that I will be able to jump start back into loss. My main concern is what this is doing to my metabolism due to the yo-yo effect.
January 28, 2017 at 4:07 pm #11747Robyn, that is my concern as well. Although I haven’t received any reply from PS1000 about issues related to starting over with the drops and phase 1 foods (a little frustrating that there hasn’t been sufficient support in that regard) my thought is to approach it as if it were the first time I started and see what happens. However, I am concerned over trying something again that is so stringent and precise, failing and then finding myself worse off than before. I am wondering if it might be better to focus more on “lifestyle changes” than on losing weight quickly because in the end the yo-yo effect is THE WORST place to be. Bad for our bodies and minds.
January 28, 2017 at 4:25 pm #11748You are 100% correct…..This is a LIFESTYLE change. All my life gone on every diet….only to gain it back. Weight watchers was that. I could eat ANYTHING as long as I stayed in my points…yes BAD eating habits ruled my life
Now 7 months later and beyond happy I reached my goal and easy to stay on Phase 2. My cravings are gone and my BP meds cut in half. I have so much energy and happy and looking great at age 64
Yes start as if you are on day 1…detox…get your body stopping all the cravings…get on track
I lose so slowly. Maybe 1 lb a week sometimes nothing but over the 7 months down 26 lbs and over 20 inches..
You can do this…

January 30, 2017 at 12:29 pm #11827I think that the best part of this program is that it allows you to think. I to have been on every diet known to man including hypnosis (total waste of money) and this is the first time I have to think and plan. It is very strict in the beginning because you are not use to the healthy food options and this plan requires you to cook and not just go for the premade quick and easy. We all in our life have to stop and do a restart but that is what is so great we have the ability to make changes. This time may not be like your first time because you already know what you need to do and you know that we are all here to support you. When you first start you do not have that because everything is so unknown. I think of myself as a work in progress and because I found this new and exciting lifestyle I can focus on building a happy healthier me and you can do the same. Forget the past as there is nothing you can do to change that look to the future and the success that lies ahead. Good luck we are all here for you
February 1, 2017 at 2:30 pm #11876Ups and downs are part of life. It’s not so much starting over as persevering. Anything worth doing takes effort. You go, girl!
My younger daughter pushes me to exercise. She claims that she can see a change in my shape already. On the flip side, she insisted that I have some of her popcorn last night, and I gave in to temptation. She seems to think that I deserve to cheat a little, so I had to explain the withdrawal and cravings to her. Five minutes later she ate a cookie right in front of me! I have to admit, that popcorn took away my desire to cheat further and strengthened my resolve.
Following the program’s guidelines has become easier, but my journey has had some serious setbacks. I lost weight for 2 weeks (5 lbs), then started exercising. When my stress levels jumped (health and legal issues concerning my older daughter), I stopped losing weight. I even gained 4 pounds; I usually gain in the winter or when I start exercising. I’m sure the stress didn’t help either. That was a real low point for me. I stuck with the plan, and my body readjusted as my stress levels went down. Week four 1 lost only 1 pound; last week, week 5, I lost 4 pounds. That’s a grand total of 6 pounds in 5 weeks. I would like to lose at least 2 pounds a week consistently, but would be content to lose 3 pounds every 2 weeks.
I don’t consider this a restart, but a body reboot. The scale is once again moving in the right direction. There were no detox symptoms or cravings when the weight loss began again, probably because I stuck to the diet. Hopefully, your temporary detour won’t put you back into detox.February 9, 2017 at 6:47 pm #12208I have been sticking to the plan with only a few days ‘off’ (like the Super Bowl party and a Dinner party) but soon I will be going out of the country for 2 weeks and staying in homes, etc. It will not be possible to follow the plan as I might like to do. After all, when a guest, you eat what is before you! I can probably pass on desserts and so forth but am hoping not to gain back like 5 pounds or something when I have worked so hard to get them off. I have it in mind to resume Phase One upon my return.
February 14, 2017 at 7:18 pm #12415I cannot seem to stay on track!! Something or someone is always getting in my way. I’m getting really frustrated with myself and I don’t know what to do. I do well for a couple days and then my kids and grandkids stop by and stay for dinner. I love having them, but a two year old doesn’t like eating grilled veggies and chicken when they haven’t been raised that way so I end up caving in and making something everyone will like and destroying my diet. I need to go hide for a month and get on track.
February 16, 2017 at 6:30 pm #12510Hi Laurie,
A suggestion might be to have some foods already prepared so if you have visitors you can make what they want and just warm up your pre-prepared plate. Then you can stay on track and still eat with your visitors. If you brainstorm solutions to the situations that come your way and are prepared, you will succeed. You can do this!
