Does anyone have a suggestion for a quality protein powder that doesn’t cost a fortune? The protein shakes I have leftover from previous diets have too many carbs or not enough protein. Thanks!
June 1, 2016 at 2:41 am #5553We use to get a whey protein powder at GNC that has I think about 20 grams of protein and maybe 4-6 carbs. Haven’t bought it in awhile.
Not too expensive if you get it on sale and purchase the membership for a year. Will probably go back to getting it while on this diet.June 2, 2016 at 2:05 pm #5582A lot of people seem to like the Quest protein powder. I would pop into GNC usually the people there are extremely helpful!

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0I am going grocery shopping later today to start the program later this week when my drops arrive. Is there a “best” brand or can you post the specifications so that I can get it while I’m out?
July 6, 2016 at 6:40 pm #6698I think a lot of people really like the Quest Protein powder. Personally I order mine on Amazon and its called Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. Overall just read the nutrition label and look for protein powder that is low in ingredients and has less than 120 calories per serving and at least 20 grams of protein. Also try to keep the carbs under 4 grams this usually means less added sugars are in that particular powder. I don’t have a clear cut recommendation though for store-bought brands.
January 3, 2017 at 4:40 pm #10884you can buy the quest powder at war mart cheaper! might need to order it online or check their availability before you shop. they were out when i went so i got the “Vega” vegan plant based protein powder. it has 110 calories, 20g protein, 6 carbs.

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0I’m another one who likes Quest. I like their individual pouches because I get so much more variety in flavors without having to find room for a bunch of powder tubs. It is pricier per serving but worth it to me. Also very convenient to grab and go.
January 10, 2017 at 1:05 am #11166I bought some Vanilla 100% Whey protein powder and use 1.5 scoops to give 120 cal, 20gr. protein and 3.5 carb.
June 11, 2017 at 9:00 pm #17223I bought MRM Low Carb in French Vanilla from Amazon. It has 23g of protein, 2g of carbs and 120 calories per scoop. It’s a Whey protein.
Hope that helps!December 21, 2017 at 5:27 pm #21068Do you add anything to the quest individual packets? That sounds like a great way to do lunch. Is that a complete meal?
