AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0Dear Nutritionists,
I am starting Phase One of the program tomorrow and I would like to start taking supplements as directed. I know nothing about supplements, but am learning that there are low quality & high quality supplements and vitamins. What are some specific brand recommendations for the following vitamins and supplements the book recommends: Glutamine, Fish Oil, Multivitamin, Liver Supplement, Vitamin B Complex, Omega 3 Capsules & Vitamin D-3. (And any others I may have missed.)
I would also love a recommendation for a protein powder.
Thanks so much for any help!

I am not a nutritionist, but I recommend Advocare for supplements and protein. The muscle gain is wonderful and I faithfully take the Omegaplex.August 6, 2016 at 11:45 am #8250Hi I would like to know if CLA is ok to take with the programs

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0I am having trouble finding a protein powder that meets the requirements of less than 4 g carbs, greater than 20 g protein and 120 calories. Can anyone recommend where to find this? Is it soy or whey? I don’ know much about the powder protein but would like to use for a daily shake. Thanks
August 9, 2016 at 3:13 pm #8421I use a plant-based protein as I have and allergy to whey, the product is called VEGA (Protein & Greens). I like the vanilla flavor. this product has 20g of protein, 2 servings of greens and 110 calories. It does have 6g of carbs, this is the lowest amount I can find for what I can use with my allergy issues. I have found this product at Costco and on Amazon. Good Luck, hope this helps.

Louise: Stick to a whey protein powder those are the best for the results you desire, unless of course you have an allergy in which case you will have to experiment with other types. Head to a GNC and ask about protein powders with those specific numbers, the people working there are always more than willing to help! A lot of people are loving the Quest brand of protein powders. You could look for that brand first.

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0I found body login Natural Whey pretty tasty. It is sweetened with Stevia. A serving has 120 calories, 1 gram fat and 3 grams of carbs. Comes in a couple of flavors and mixes well with water. I picked it up at Walgreens.
