AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0Welcome Lalalandia! I think you will find that this is a change in lifestyle that you will want to embrace for the rest of your life. Once you get yourself used to weekly meal planning and look through the recipes on this site as well as out Facebook page you will find recipes you like. The cooking is not bad and I never thought I would say that. I never liked to cook before this plan. Now after 3 weeks I find myself looking for new recipes that work with the plan and enjoy trying them. Good luck and let me know if I can help you any at all.
ShirleyApril 5, 2017 at 1:28 pm #14652Thank you for your warm welcome! I have to figure out the time between my full time work schedule and the kitchen. I was reviewing some of the recipes in the website and the ones involving salad.
April 5, 2017 at 5:24 pm #14665Hi Lalalandia! You will be glad if you put in effort and planning at the beginning. I’m at end of week 2, 9lbs down and well over 100 to go! I work full time and travel too, so to get started, I decided to keep it very simple. From the approved foods list and based on a couple of recipes I thought would be simple, I got several basic ingredients I can use for a different meals. I learned those and let that become part of my routine, then add something else. I don’t mind repetition so that works ok for me. I planned out one day’s menu carefully with all the calculations so I have an idea of portion sizes, etc. Once I got used to that, then I experimented with different things. The support here on the forum and on the Facebook page is very good too. And on the days I cannot eat at home, I’ve been able to make reasonable choices.
Best of luck to you, you can do it!!
TrishApril 5, 2017 at 5:31 pm #14666Thank you very much Trish. In two weeks you lost 9 pounds? Congratulations(-: I hope that too. Where can I found the list that you are referring? If you have the chance please send me the link. Your encouragement mean a lot to me.
April 6, 2017 at 12:57 am #14696Hi Lalalandia,
Thank you! Yes, 9 lbs lost in 2 weeks. I do have a total of 150 lbs I need to lose, so I expect it to come off more quickly at the beginning (I lost about 12 more before I started PS1000, but that took a few months). Everyone is different, so some lose more quickly and some more slowly. In my first reply I forgot you don’t have your PS1000 ‘goodies’ yet, sorry! When you get them, you will find the approved foods list starting on page 19. I highly recommend you read the whole book, and to get started, especially all that comes before the approved foods list.
Best to you,

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0For me breakfast is Quest Bars, easy and convenient. I read about somewhere here that you can have them.
April 10, 2017 at 4:05 pm #14904Quest Bars are allowed in phase 2, but actually not advised in phase 1. So they are allowed, just a little later on!

April 10, 2017 at 7:17 pm #14916Hi everyone,
I just found this diet, Haven’t ordered as of yet because I’m not sure how it all works. I really only have to lose about 10-15 lbs exercise 5 days a week with weights and cardio. I have been trying to find out as much as I can about it before investing I’s a large amt to start. I notices that there are two different kind of drops, are you required to take both? and how long to you have to keep taking them? I looked at 1 weeks worth of eating plan, and have notes that the dinner meal is very light compared to Lunch. Is it possible to switch those around? Since My husband would be eating most likely the same meal, and I don’t think he would like something like a salad for dinner. Sorry for all the questions but like I sad I don’t want to spend the money only to find out that I wouldn’t like it or that I wouldn’t be able to do it because of my situation.

AnonymousInactive@Karma Coins: 0Hi Jacqueline, I am have the same WEIGHTLOSS goals as you (10-15#). I will try to answer your questions for you. You are not required to take the B drops, but it is highly suggested so that you will not be so tired. B vitamins are some of the best to take when dieting to give you energy to do all those exercises. It is like a B12 shot. It builds you up so you will be able to eat less. The diet plan is really one that teaches you to eat healthy and is meant to be your lifestyle from here on out. I eat less for lunch than dinner but you do need to get the required amount of foods in per day. You have to have s certain amount of protein, fats, and Carbs. You do have to eat 5 times per day. There is a book that comes with the plan that you need to read at least 3 times to know what you can and cannot eat. I feel like it was totally worth the cost. This is much cheaper than the HCG diet I did in the past and I lost 7 pounds in 4 weeks while under a great deal of stress and no exercise. I love this plan as they don’t stop at the end of your weight loss journey. They help you through transition to normal eating for life without the drops. Hope this helps.
