Questions – I haven’t received my order yet but I would like to know if coffee and tea are part of the plan. Also, what can be used as a creamer for coffee?
I am very excited and looking forward to starting.
April 29, 2017 at 8:51 pm #15786Hi Sandy,
Coffee and tea are permissible on the plan. You can use almond or coconut milk as a creamer. You’re allowed one cup which would count toward your daily optional liquid serving. 1/2 cup of hemp milk is also permitted but I’ve never used it so don’t know how it tastes. I hope this helps!

1 tablespoon of Cafe Du monde Coffee with Chicory – you can find this brand on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Cafe-Du-Monde-Coffee-Chickory/dp/B0000E5JIU/ref=sr_1_2_s_it?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1493499129&sr=1-2&keywords=cafe+du+monde+coffee
8oz water
1 cup of coconut milk heated in the microwave
1 tsp vanilla extract
Stevia to taste
Dash of saltBrew coffee
Add all other ingredients
Enjoy!I hope you like it!

April 30, 2017 at 3:10 pm #15830Hi Sandy, On page 25 of the book, WATCH WHAT YOU ARE DRINKING: “If you must have something other than water make it unsweetened and decaffeinated hot tea. One cup of coffee each day is allowed , but it DOES NOT count towards your daily hydration.”
That being stated…
I have 1 cup coffee, 1/4 cup almond milk, Stevia to taste. I use the other 3/4c Almond milk* in my Protein shake after work out. I have been doing this since day one which was a week ago. I have lost a few ounces under 6 lbs
*I cup 30cal Almond Milk (I use Costco Unsweetened Organic Almond milk at 30 cal per serving) which is an Optional Liquid
I hope this helps. Also, Look in the RECIPES section. It REALLY helps you get creative with your foods.
BEST OF LUCK
