Hi Jamie,
Try adding lemon and lime juice to your water and stevia, this may provide the sweetness you crave with the added benefits of your water requirementsLinda Solana replied to the topic Rough Start in the forum Newcomers Start Here 7 years, 1 month ago

Hi Jess,
I like to add a scoop of Amazing Greens to my protein drink (just 30 calories). Chocolate or the chocolate peppermint might be just the thing. I like doing this as an afternoon energizer.Linda Solana replied to the topic NEW MEMBER in the forum Newcomers Start Here 7 years, 1 month ago
Hi Jess,
This is the perfect time to not only take care of your needs and get your family doing healthy eating at the same time. You may have to add carbs, potatoes, rice and bread for them, but the addition of healthy vegetables can get them pointed in the right direction and help you avoid doing double work making multiple or different…[Read more]Linda Solana changed their profile picture 7 years, 1 month ago

Hi Elizabeth,
You mention two things in your post – you’re doing a heavy workout and planning your meals. Are you doing 1000 calories or increasing to 1500 due to the workout as the booklet recommends for heavy workouts? Also, are you measuring your foods? It is possible your system has gone into starvation mode. Read the booklet as it does…[Read more]Linda Solana replied to the topic Hello in the forum Newcomers Start Here 7 years, 1 month ago
Hi Fruzsi,
I have been on this for roughly 6 weeks now and have lost a total of 12 lbs. It has been slow for me, but I must say it has been the easiest weight loss without constantly being famished. I can certainly understand your concerns, as I just spent 3 days in the hospital undergoing EKG’s, Echo and Catherization, as well as having a halter…[Read more]Linda Solana replied to the topic Day 29 in the forum Newcomers Start Here 7 years, 1 month ago
Hi Kim, you’re doing great, wish I was as successful. Down only 9lbs in the 4 weeks, but the inches are melting, almost 2 dress sizes. But I do have to say this has been the easiest weight loss without constantly being famished!
It’s stories like yours that keeps the rest of us going!Linda Solana replied to the topic Crustless Sugar-free Pumpkin Pie… in the forum Phase 1 7 years, 1 month ago
I think I found the recipe Dewey was referring to “Crustless Pumpkin Pie, plus an additional one “Pumpkin Breakfast Souffle”

Hi Paul,
Wow, congratulations on your success and keep the good work up!
I’m just finishing my third week and down 6lbs to date, which has been my easiest loss without starving myself, and I have 19lbs to go. What I have found on this diet and one thing I was searching for was to eliminate my cravings for sugar (candy, cake or cookies). I am…[Read more]Linda Solana replied to the topic Hi in the forum Newcomers Start Here 7 years, 2 months ago
Hi, I’ve just started my third week and although I am losing slowly – 7 lbs so far, you will see results by sticking to the plan. I’m finding the hardest thing is eating so much food as I’m not hungry and have no desire for sweets. Do what you can to drink your fluids as this is key to your success.
Good luck.

You might want to check and see if it’s under your profile. I had issues downloading the free menu and then noticed it was showing on the bottom of my profile screen as a PDF attachment. I opened it and then re-saved it on my desktop for easy retrieval.

Hi Mia,
I’m a newbie, just starting my second week. I followed what I thought was a 1000 calorie plan for my first two days and found the USDA Food Tracking site on day 3. I’m glad I went and added in day 1 and 2 in the daily meal tracking. To my surprise, I was actually consuming 1200 and 1250 calories. Now I work out my meal plan daily and…[Read more]Linda Solana replied to the topic Food Tracking Site – free & no pop-up advertising in the forum Newcomers Start Here 7 years, 2 months ago
Hi Jamie,
Yes you can. Select the type of food (ie: greek yogurt), then you will select customize, add your name (ie: Chobani, Pineapple) then change the nutrient details to correspond with the labeling. The USDA site will automatically plug in Vitamin values, etc. which you can leave or chaange. Ideal for tracking fat and sodium consumption.
I…[Read more]Linda Solana started the topic Food Tracking Site – free & no pop-up advertising in the forum Newcomers Start Here 7 years, 2 months ago
I found the following USDA website which is great for tracking your food, calories and nutrition. I added the foods that I would eat to my favorites and have also added customized items like protein shake, and recipes I am planning on using from PS1000. Easy to use, free and no annoying advertising pop-ups. Hope it…[Read more]

Congratulations Cathie, that’s great news and very encouraging to the rest of us. Five days in and not sure if I have lost anything yet. Planning on weighing in only weekly as a daily will only drive me crazy.
Keep the good work up!
