Jessica, I got the Nibbs and want to thank you. The coffee flavor does best to cut the craving, the caramel just makes me want to pop another! At 30cal a drop they are so much safer than a chocolate bar!

Love this advice! I do find I do better when I take a day to cook and proportion out snack bags, so the next 5-7 days I can eat without too much thought, time or effort to make it happen. Mason Jar salads have been a blessing, and when the weather got chilly and I didn’t feel like salads I could fill them with soup for a quick heat-up.

Good for you, Sue! I agree that the drops are key to this program. Yes, you can loose wight on 1000 calories a day, but I doubt as many pounds and without the absence of hunger & cravings that I feel the drops handle for me.

Sue those all sound good too. I have not et done the PS1000 zucchini chips but I think they would be good, just need the time to make them.

Jessica, thank you so much for that suggestion. I am familiar with Nibbs and now that you mention it I can see how they are a better choice than toffee or caramels! Thanks for that reminder.

Does anyone have a favorite brand of raw sauerkraut? How about good recipe? Is it possible to make without sugar and use stevia, or is the sugar needed to get the fermentation?

@Julie… I have to try your eggs! Sounds delish. @ Evelina is almond butter aloud in P1 or is that in your P2 snacks? I need to check out this Sumos fruit– what sort of fruit is it? I love everyones suggestions.

In P1 we have to watch the fat so 2 eggs uses all the days fat, same thing with almonds and avocado it is easy to use the full fat with any of these 3… but what can we snack on besides veggies with no fat?

I have done the hard boiled, but like spicy and even with cayenne it’s not as delish as the deviled, but when out and about that makes more sense. I don’t like apples. If I have to eat apples Fuji are the only ones and I will try cinnamon, but not a fan of cinnamon unless its on cinnamon toast with tons of butter and sugar! I’ve really got to…[Read more]

I agree with Brad on this. I had success on HCG and that is how I found PS1000 because it is very much like HCG but with natural drops and 1000 cal instead of the 500 cal and more food options allowed. In P1 of HCG I lost 20 lbs (my goal was 30 lbs) and in P2 of HCG I maintained. I went back for round 2 of P1 in HCG to get the last 10lbs and got…[Read more]

Tammy, I think keeping it simple is key. Planning ahead; dividing up my salad ingredients into 7 wide-mouth mason jars so all I have to do is grab & go helps… I do 1 of 2 choices for dressing; either put it on the bottom of the jar before layering and then put the least porous food on top like beans or radish so i don’t have a soggy salad, the…[Read more]

Judalon Smyth replied to the topic Weight fluctuations and stalls, how do I avoid them? in the forum Weight Loss Diary 9 years, 6 months ago
I don’t know if they are avoidable for all the variables mentioned above. Certainly following the program as much to letter as possible should help minimize them, but I think they are a part of the process and I try to embrace them and trust that I will move through and beyond them.

Judalon Smyth replied to the topic Advice on which Tupperware containers to use? in the forum Before & After … and In-Between 9 years, 6 months ago
I like to do mason jars for salads, it keeps them so fresh, just get the wide mouth jars. I also have several of the smart meals to go – not sure of the brand but can look when I am home and let you know if interested. I think glass is much safer in regards to not getting any toxins leeched into the food.

My first round of P1 I did so well of staying away from sugar, but this second round is tough. My success first time I used sparkling mineral water with vanilla SweetLeaf Stevia… tasted like a cream soda. Also cherries were in season and when they were gone I happened into an amazing green variety of plum that had just the perfect sweet/sour to…[Read more]
